6 years!

Yesterday, Rob and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. We have a few traditions that we've upheld over the years. We started buying a nice bottle wine on our 1st-5th anniversaries, with the intent of enjoying them for our 6th-10th anniversaries. So last night, we finally got to open our first bottle of anniversary wine. Another tradition is to have the bakery who created our wedding cake, bake a smaller version of the same cake - a yummy key lime cake with raspberry. We also always watch our wedding video each year. It is a wonderful reminder of the special day. The final tradition is the only one to get dropped over the years. We had started following the traditional/modern anniversary gifts. So, for example, when it was paper, the gifts were Red Sox tickets and custom stationary. This year, we decided the traditional 6 year gift would be a house.

Last night's feast. We pulled out the china and crystal, and lit our Unity Candle from the wedding.
